About
Emma-Louise started her career in the newsroom, working as a producer for the BBC, Sky News and Tina Brown Media. Committed to focusing her career on forwarding gender equality, she went on to set up her own women-first media companies. First, a career-platform called Her Hustle, followed by the now award-winning, sell-out live event series and podcast, Sex Talks. Inspired by her own experience doing sex therapy, Emma-Louise realised there is nothing more central to women’s equality than sexual politics.
Over the years she has interviewed leading figures across politics, entertainment, literature, and psychology, fearlessly addressing typically taboo topics like sex, desire, sexual assault and more. Emma-Louise recently won the Sexual Freedom Award for her achievements in the sexual wellness space.
She has hosted events, interviews and brand partnerships with leading brands including Tinder, The Edition Hotel, Sezane, UN Women, Fenwick, Universal Music, Cheltenham Literature Festival and more, and hosts a monthly event series at Soho House.
Emma-Louise has just written her first book, Pleasure: The Reclamation of My Body, published by Bonnier on 28th May 2026. Her writing has appeared in Vogue, RED Magazine, Cosmo, Stylist, The Independent, and ES Magazine.
My Misson
Going to sex therapy changed my life. It transformed how I felt in my body, my relationship to sex and intimacy, and my sense of confidence and self-trust. I realised then that everything starts with connection — with how we connect to ourselves, and how we connect to others.
Now, my mission is to help people shed their shame, reconnect with their bodies, and build more intimate, embodied, pleasure-filled lives. In an increasingly disconnected world, how we relate to our bodies, our desire, and each other has never mattered more.
I do this storytelling. Why? Because I firmly believe that the stories we tell ourselves, about ourselves, shape how we see the world and our role in it. So, if we want to change the world around us, we should start by writing better stories.
