Speaking

I started out as a news producer at the BBC, Sky News and Tina Brown Media, and have spent the years since asking people like Steven Soderbergh, Laura Bates and Alastair Campbell the questions we’re all curious about, but seldom get the chance to explore.

On stage, I bring the same rigour I brought to the newsroom. My talks are deeply researched, driven by an insatiable curiosity and designed to leave a room thinking differently. Above all, I want to help every single person who joins me to shed their shame, feel less alone in whatever they’re going through, and more emboldened to live life on their own terms.

Recent stages include TEDx, NBC Universal, a solo series with Pints of Knowledge, a workshop and talk for Wild Nutrition, and a solo talk in Estonia for leading women’s health brand Naked. I’ve hosted interviews at wellness festivals including Intelligent Change and Alma, and have been invited to speak at the Hay, Cheltenham and Henley literary festivals and at WOW – Women of the World Festival in London.

Hosting & Interviews

Panels · Fireside chats · Live interviews

Alongside my keynotes, I host panels, fireside chats and live interviews for festivals, brands and businesses. Ten years of asking people questions for a living has taught me how to prepare properly, ask the question the audience actually wants answered and keep a conversation moving, while putting guests at ease enough to say something they haven't said before.

On stage and on mic, I've been in conversation with guests including Will Poulter, Dr Amir Levine, Roxie Nafousi, Paul Brunson and Coco Mellors.

I'm available for:

  • Panel moderation at conferences and festivals

  • Fireside chats and live interviews with authors, founders and public figures

  • Event hosting, from opening remarks to closing Q&A

  • Book launches and in-conversation events

Keynotes

01 · Connection to self

How to Re-Write Your Intimate Story

Every one of us is living inside a story we didn’t entirely write for ourselves. Some of it came from our parents, some from culture, some from the relationships that shaped us before we knew what we wanted or who we really were.

In this talk, we pull that story apart: the beliefs about intimacy, love and self-worth that have been covertly shaping our lives without our realising it – guiding the decisions we make, the paths we walk down, the people we choose. Then we’ll learn how to write a better one.

This talk will help you:

  • Identify the stories and social scripts shaping your life

  • Become more curious about your own unconscious patterns

  • Make more intentional decisions that reflect how you actually want to live

  • Challenge the beliefs and behaviours no longer serving you

02 · Connection to the world around you

Reclaim Desire as Your Creative Compass

In this talk, we trace the direct line between desire and creativity, exploring how deepening our connection to our bodies – to our own wants, needs and desires – creates the wellspring from which creative energy grows.

We’ll discuss the power of discernment when it comes to inspiration, and how knowing which desires are fleeting, and which can sustain years of work, is the key to turning good ideas into a stand-out body of work.

This talk will help you:

  • Learn about the connection between pleasure and creativity

  • Identify the barriers disconnecting you from your creativity

  • Deepen your connection to your body, attuning to your wants, needs and desires

  • Create a pleasure practice to fuel your creativity

03 · Connection to others

Why Self-Help Is Lying to You

This talk rebuts the idea that self-improvement is a solo endeavour, one defined solely by personal reflection, solitary practices and the endless perfection of the self. Instead, it guides attendees to seek growth through better connection with others. Improving how we connect, communicate and even disagree with one another is, after all, the key to real growth.

Filled with examples from history of social movements that spawned real change, this talk is both informative and entertaining, designed to showcase how our neoliberal fixation on the self, and the self-improvement discourse that followed, is harming rather than helping us, personally and societally.

This talk will help you:

  • Learn how to ask better questions and get curious about other people

  • Disagree without disconnecting: navigate conflict, difference and repair

  • Discover why redefining your purpose around being of service to others might just be the most overlooked growth tool there is
